The “BabyNaps ” app helps parents monitor their children' s sleep progress and ad just daytime naps to reach their child' s recommended amount of sleep.
Situation
Our partners already had a web app and a mobile sleep app, but they asked us to redesign their apps to increase user engagement .
We conducted an analytics of the target audience and, based on the data obtained, redesigned the current application and added new features.
Goals
1 - Identify primary user Pains;
2 - Increase Engagement (Web & Mobile apps ’);
3 - Improve Onboarding process;
4 - Create simple app’ s Navigation process;
5 - Create new app’ s Modules (Frames/Prototypes ) according to Technical Requirement ;
What w as done
1 - Analyzed the current User Pains in the App, also we created our own User Tests to better identify User Flow and User Pain points;
2 - UX Design (User Flow /User Parth Prototype interactive tests );
3 - UI Design (G rid, 3 colors rule, 3 ckicks rule, Clickable area etc. );
4 - Onboarding interactions w ere added (new Module );
5 - Improved Navigation in the application according to the know n patterns of the target audience;
6 - Illustrations - added improved illustrations;
7 - Improved design Prototype Tested locally.
Results (Loc al tests )
- 95% of users were able to identify the main colors of the brand and reproduce them after using the application (very hight result according to use only Brand Colors);
- 92% of users have no problems with Navigation system (It was caused by improved app’s navigation flow);
- 9% were not finished all of the tasks or spent a lot of time to complete them.
